This $6.2 million dollar electrical project involved 290 senior-living condominiums in a five story, multi-wing building, attached to a three story, 72 bed assisted living health care facility. With three separate services, over 180 panel boards, seven transfer switches, a 1MW Generator and all incoming Tele/Com feeds, this project was a dream from the beginning. The complex also housed a full commercial kitchen, a swimming complex, an underground parking garage and multiple living/community rooms.
As General Foremen for Jolen Electric, I was lucky enough to work alongside three incredible foremen who managed over 65 electricians at the project's high point. The initial five months of MEP coordination allowed me to design all 35+ electrical rooms, the extensive underground systems and all overhead feeders for the condominium wings of the project, along with the daily scheduling, on-site coordination and installation supervision.
